FERTIL has been established in 1980 in Abu Dhabi to Utilize natural gas for the manufacture of Anhydrous Ammonia and Urea. It's Facilities are situated in the Ruwais Industrial Complex, on the Gulf Coastline, 250 west of Abu Dhabi City. |

| - One 1050 tons/day Ammonia Plant |
| - One 1500 tons/day Urea Plant |
| - One Sea terminal for export of lquid ammonia and bagged / bulk urea. |

The construction of the plant, which started in November 98, was completed in August 1983. FERTIL has the capability to supply each year to world makers up to 60,000 tons of urea of the standard internationally recognized quality. |
