AFA offers a large number of services to its members and affiliated parties, reflected in AFA international forums, technical conferences and specialized seminars for people working in fertilizer industry, materials and accompanying activities, namely marketing, transportation, distribution and other assisting services, all of which aim at identifying the following:

• International policy concerned with fertilizers, its materials and production inputs together with international food security.
• Supply and demand status related to different fertilizers raw materials.
• State-of-the-art developments with reference to the establishment and modernization of mines equipment and requirements, fertilizer industry and technologies.
• Projects, production extension plans and its impact on increasing raw materials and production inputs: raw materials of phosphate, sulphur, gas, ammonia … etc.
• Environmental dimension and the safety of fertilizer industry and materials.
• Exchanging expertise and knowledge besides providing technical assistance for member companies and convening specialized workshops based on surveying the needs of member companies, so as to:
  • Exchange the practical expertise in the fields of production, maintenance, operation, safety and environment.
  • Exchange and support the efficiency of people working in marketing, (commercial) sales and other technical fields.
  • Promoting the qualifications of people working in exporting ports in addition to land and marine transportation.
  • Informing participants and specialists with the latest developments in marine administration and international trade laws together with terminologies used.
  • Submitting regular reports and statistical periodicals on Arab industry situation.
